Isuzu East Africa has begun the construction of a new spare parts distribution center in Lukenya, Machakos County. The new distribution and assembly facility is a significant investment, valued at Sh3.1 billion.
The move is part of Isuzu’s broader strategy to enhance its after-sales services and expand its business presence in the East African market.
The center will function as a central hub for the storage and distribution of vehicle spare parts. It will feature advanced vehicle assembly lines, serving East and Central African markets.
When operational, the center will expand Isuzu’s operational capacity, ensure availability of genuine parts for vehicle owners, and cut delivery timelines.
Also, the investment is expected to create hundreds of local jobs, providing employment during both the construction period and ongoing operations of the facility.
This move comes as the Kenyan government and industry players are committed to attracting high-impact investments that support Kenya’s Vision 2030 industrialization goals.
